Gigantic! The 7 World Wonders of Ski Sports |
|
Köln, 24 November, 2014 (APA/OTS) - We all know that the
original world wonders back in ancient times were so gigantic they
were hardly believed to be built by man. However, even today in
modern ski areas one can find unbelievable buildings on and
alongside the pistes. We have picked the top 7 world wonders of ski
sports. |
The modern buildings on top of these mighty glaciers, and within the
ski areas themselves, are becoming increasingly extravagant. In
Finland skiers can enjoy a sauna whilst ascending to the mountain
peak in a gondola. In France, up to 200 people at once can be
transported in the largest gondola in the world. Skiing even can be
enjoyed right in the middle of a desert, amid hot sand and camels.
Gigantic snow cats prepare even the widest piste in no time at all,
and skiers can swing by an ice chapel to get married on the way down
- all of these small wonders make snow sports a really fascinating
experience! SnowTrex has put together the 7 world wonders of ski sports, which
will surely make your eyes widen. The full text with the description
of all 7 wonders can be found in our press area:
