As one of the pioneers in the development of biometric products,
DERMALOG Identification Systems has shaped the world of modern
security technology. The largest German biometrics company has
supplied states and governments all over the world in its more than
20 years of corporate history. From 20. - 24. March DERMALOG
displays the use and possible combinations of different biometric

DERMALOG scientists continuously develop Biometric Identification
Systems. Here it is possible to highlight Fingerprint Recognition,
Face Recognition and Iris Recognition. Accuracy and speed of these
algorithms are optimized continuously - to be able to identify
individuals in large-scale databases. Used combined in one project,
multi-biometric solutions provide a crucial contribution against
identity fraud.
"Our multi-modal ABIS (Automated Biometric Identification System)
combines several biometric methods", says DERMALOG founder and
managing director Günther Mull. ABIS is a fully customizable
software package. It provides the ability to match, store or process
the captured characteristics, so-called biometric templates. As a
multi-biometrics provider, DERMALOG is able to link for example
Fingerprint Recognition to Face Recognition.
Complete National ID Card Systems, ID Cards for the organisation of
Health Systems, passports and Border Control Systems are only one
part of the possibilities. In addition, Criminal Investigation,
Refugee and Voters Registration, banking business as well as payment
systems can be raised to a high standard with biometric solutions by
DERMALOG. Including scanner hardware the "Biometrics Innovation
Leaders'" product portfolio includes fixed and mobile solutions.
